Johns Hopkins is the #1 rated hospital system in America.  The Johns Hopkins Schools of Medicine, Public Health, and Engineering and the Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory are in their respective fields among the leading research entities in the United States.  The Winkenwerder Company has worked closely with all the Hopkins Institutions to help them conceptualize and develop a new approach to collaborative and translational research.  This approach will respond to the changing needs of federal health research agencies and help facilitate innovation and speedier “bench to bedside” care improvements.  Following one year of work to complete the first phase of this project, the project is moving into a second stage that will result in the stand up of new resources and structures.  The Winkenwerder Company has provided valuable support and strategic guidance to the leadership of Johns Hopkins and facilitated new relationships that are helping Johns Hopkins achieve its goals.
