Helping Non-Profits, and Charitable Organizations

 

Giving back to non-profits and charitable organizations and to one’s country through government or military service can provide deeply meaningful experiences.  There are so many ways to give.  The key seems to be finding the organization or cause that touches you, and then just getting involved.  Good things happen.

 

Dr. Winkenwerder's career has taken himto central and southern Africa in the fight against HIV/AIDS, to Iraq and Afghanistan to support our troops, and to relief efforts following natural disasters overseas and here in America. He has also had opportunities to join groups fighting cancer or the long-term consequences of brain injury.  In each instance, individuals and groups worked together with passion and teamwork to accomplish great things.  They made a difference.  It was inspiring.

 

Your experience is hopefully similar to ours.  Whether you are working to cure or prevent cancer, contributing to assist young people or families in need, or volunteering for a worthy cause, you are using your time wisely.  We encourage our associates to give back and we recognize the charitable organizations and non-profits with whom we work or support.
