On October 22, 2011, Dr. Bill Winkenwerder will moderate a panel during the closing session of the conference that will discuss “Healthcare 2020 – What will our healthcare system look like in 2020?”
The three member panel will be Doug Holtz-Eakin, PhD, former Congressional Budget Officer; Jonathan Bush, MBA, Chairman and CEO of Athenahealth; and Ezekial Emanuel, MD, PhD, Former Special Advisor for Health Policy to OMB.
Will we still be debating or implementing healthcare reform? Will the Affordable Care Act (ACA) be ruled unconstitutional or will it be upheld by the Supreme Court? How will our growing national debt and federal deficits affect the evolving healthcare reform? These are only a few of the many topics that will be debated during what is to be a lively session.
